Prevention measures for the new coronavirus at the Polo

The industries are adopting preventive measures against the new coronavirus (Covid-19) in the Industrial Hub of Cubatão and in the municipality, thus allowing a safe operational continuity.

Health professionals are focused on actions to monitor and prevent contamination among company employees. In this way, it will help the emergency service points in the city to avoid crowding and minimize viral transmission by the accumulation of people.

All measures are being taken based on the general guidelines of the Ministry of Health and the Health Secretariat of the Government of the State of São Paulo.

Interview with TV Tribuna about the role of industries in the pandemic

The directors of Cide and Ciesp Cubatão, Ricardo Salgado and Raul Elias Pinto, participated in an interview for Jornal da Tribuna – 1st Edition, of the regional broadcaster TV Tribuna, last Monday (20).

The representatives of the institutions talked about the details of all the preventive measures that the Cubatão Pole is adopting in the face of the new coronavirus pandemic. Watch:

Ricardo highlighted the integration of industries and the main measures adopted at the Pole, such as the intensification of hygiene in common areas at work stations, for the minimum number of workers who are not in the home office regime, and the increase in the transport fleets of employees to allow the distance between people on the routes.

Regarding the post-pandemic scenario, the executive director informed that all companies are adopting the appropriate measures to minimize the current and future impacts, with the essential objective of avoiding layoffs.

Ricardo also mentioned the donations of individual protection equipment (PPE) made by Condomínio Industrial and destined to the Cubatão Health Department, in addition to the disinfection of public roads carried out by companies in the condominium.
