Cide presents Cubatão – Opportunities Factory to Chambers of Commerce

The action aims to attract processing industries to the city

Cide visited Chambers of Commerce with great representation in the Country

The Center for Integration and Development (Cide), with support from the Center of Industries of the State of São Paulo (Ciesp) – Cubatão Regional, is promoting the program Cubatão – The Opportunity Factory in the main World Chambers of Commerce, located in Brazil . The objective is to highlight in these meetings the various reasons for multinational transformation industries to be installed in the largest industrial pole in Latin America, supplier of high quality raw materials.

Launched in March this year, during a seminar at the Brazilian Chemical Industry Association (Abiquim) in São Paulo, the Cubatao Industrial Complex has disclosed, in addition to the attributes of the municipality, more than 2.5 million m² in areas available for investment in the city. The City Hall, in partnership with Cide and Ciesp Cubatão, will offer tax incentives to new large industrial companies to settle in the Polo.

For the manager of Cide and Ciesp Cubatão, Valmir Ramos Ruiz, representative of the institutions in the meetings with the Chambers, the meetings are providing visibility to Cubatão. “The Chambers have shown interest in knowing more about the business opportunities that Cubatão has to offer. Cide and Ciesp Cubatão, integrated with the City Hall, Communities and other Organs, have been working intensely to seek investments for the city, aiming at generating employment and, consequently, fostering local commerce”.

The Chambers of Commerce are intended to promote segments of the countries they represent, such as Industry, Commerce, Tourism and Culture. Four Chambers have been visited by the Cide so far: chambers of China, Spain, Japan and France. The timeline already has pre-scheduled meetings with other countries later this year.
